Website Update!

I’ve loved my website for years but it was time for an update. Websites need constant care and feeding. If they are ignored they slowly wither away. It had been a while and mine was ready for a redo.

Done! It’s ready for its close up. It has been added to and changed and adjusted and all with keeping with the basic format.

First decision was for the update, next decide was when. I thought, let’s aim for September. After all, in the world of fashion, September is the beginning of a new year. So last Sunday, September 1, my new website had its debut.

It’s still my beloved basic platform but with new pictures and a different color way [perfect for the fall and holiday season coming up.]

We also wanted to include a section with an up close and personal feature. The idea was that it would be a way to really see and understand a few of the pieces in more detail and in more depth. About half way down the first page, there are a group of photos. When you click on any one of those images it takes you to a page with more shots of that piece. I tried to include an overall image, a back view, a closer look and a detail. Plus, because I wanted to show more than the final result, we’ve included some process shots. So not only the finished piece but also how it got there.

I also added in some new photos into the ‘designer apparel’ pages. New pictures in the ‘special occasions,’ ‘coats and jackets,’ ‘ensembles’ and ‘scarves’ pages.
