We are live! My newest video, called, ‘One Scarf,’ is up and available for viewing.
I’m participating in the American Craft Council’s on-line artist’s directory [click [here] to visit the website.] It is a platform listing over 150 craft artists with information about their work and links to their websites and social media pages.
This October 3 -16, there will be an on-line pop-up marketplace with featured artists who will have work for sale at the site.
We were asked to submit a 30 second video featuring our ‘favorite piece’ that will be for sale. Favorite! Yow! Each one I make is unique and loved. They are all my favorite. So instead, as a way to show that every single piece is created with attention and care, I decided to focus on the process. I chose the making of a scarf.
Click [here] to see what we came up with. 30 seconds is over fast. Do not blink!

Just perfect, Ann!
Thank You Betsy!
Bravo! That is truly a wonderful little video — well done!
Thank You Pat! I appreciate your kind words!
Fabulous! It gave me a good laugh. I was envisioning a follow up slow mo video of me taking six hours to create your 30 second scarf! 😘Becky
Thanks Becky! The dirty little secret, it actually takes me more than 30 seconds to make a scarf.
Graceful little video. Beautiful scarf on a lovely lady.
Thank You Carol!
Loved the video. You did great. The whole nation will see it!
Thank You Ruth!
Cool, Ann! It’s great to experience your work creation with Eric’s music and video expertise.
Thank You Judith! Eric, my in-home music and video producer. Everyone needs one!
Lovely! Gives a wonderful snapshot of your creative process!
Could you please tell me what you use for your cutting/ pressing board mats? What is the brand and size?
I can’t seem to find large size self-healing mats.
Thanks!
Thank You Luisa! My favorite cutting mats are Omnigrid. Mine are 24 x 36 inches. I have three, one which is in great shape and is my main mat, one which endured years of rotary cutting abuse so is no longer usable. And one which I foolishly left outside in the sun to get rid of the off-gassing fumes. The smell went away but the heat from the sun warped the mat.
My ironing board cover, is from years ago. I heard through the grape vine that the company that made them switched from a cotton to a polyester that melted if the iron was too hot! That may have changed since then. Sorry I do not have the company name.
