It’s coming up! The annual American Craft Council Show in Baltimore. I have 4 weeks to start, make and finish new work for the show.
In various stages, some of what I have so far:
A pieced jacket, close to completion. Just a few more tweaks and adjustments, plus collar, back and sleeves, sew it up and it will be finished.

A strip with appliquéd squares for the bottom edge of a trench coat. This picture was taken after I’d pinned the squares in place and was just starting to baste them down. Next step, sew around each.

The one below is more hope and expectation than anything recognizable.
It will be a pieced trench coat, ahem,… a little loose right now. You need to squint, maybe close your eyes, to envision where I think I’m heading.

Stay tuned!
So very lovely. Wearable art, wearable forever, style creation.
Thank you Jan! I agree, wearable art, never “in” fashion so never “out” of fashion.
I love seeing your creative juices bubbling! I especially like the piecing with the blue gradations. I’m excited to see them finished.
Thank You Angie! I’m also looking forward to seeing these finished. I’ll post the pictures soon.
