Look what landed on my front porch a few weeks ago! It’s a Polyphemus Moth. A North American member of the Saturniidae or Giant Silk Moth family.
Yep, Giant Silk Moth, so appropriate.
Very giant! And so beautiful. It stayed a day or two, then vanished.
