I am just home from the American Craft Council’s annual show in San Francisco.
A wonderful event, and, … Bonus! It’s in San Francisco!
On my way down, a view from my seat, Mt Shasta, just visible through the smoke from the Carr forrest fire.
Down to Oakland, where I stayed, right across the bay from San Francisco.
Each morning I crossed the bridge to get to the show.
Friday rush hour was intense, but by Sunday, it had calmed down. I breezed over the bridge in half the time.
Look at those steep streets! Where else but San Francisco.
I must say, I absolutely love it here. Blue skies and cool breezes. Perfect.
And to Fort Mason. Built on piers, right over the water.
My home away from home for three days.
Beautiful light came in and lit up my clothes.
Another great show in San Francisco!
A fantastic turnout, new friends and old came by.
So much fun! Like a big party.
And sweet dogs! I couldn’t resist taking a photo of these cuties.
Next, I blink, turn around and voila!
Here I am, back home in Portland. Like magic.
Thank you to the American Craft Council and all the wonderful people who came to the show!
