All lined up and ready to go.
New jackets, coats, vests, blouses, skirts, they’re piling up!
I can hear them, ‘Finish us already!’

Your process is so fascinating -it looks like you cut out a series of pieces, then do the embellishment, and then put together? Amazing that each piece is so individual!

  As to my process, it all depends. Sometimes it’s one at a time, other times it’s a group, as it was for these pieces. I had drawn a number of ideas and gathered fabrics and colors, so I was ready to start on all at once.
  One thing always stays the same, embellish, piece, appliqué or bead first, then sew the garment together.
