I’ve been working on this shape for a while, first as an oversized coat then this newer, shorter version.
I used a navy kimono silk and pieced it with squares and skinny strips of light blue and green.
This back view shows that there is plenty of room.
Arms down and next to the body, the extra fullness drapes and hangs straight.
I have a couple more in the pipeline, one is appliquéd and the other pieced.
Both for the San Francisco show.
In two and a half weeks.
