My way to celebrate Labor Day?
Keep busy.
On my table, last week’s projects:
Subtle beading on the mother of the bride jacket.
The same for a pair of pants. Can you see them? A black strip just visible in the middle the picture, with black beads along the side seams.
Orange and black scarves, [Princeton University’s colors, for a store close to their campus].
And the beginnings of a purple shell, beads to be added, to go under the pieced jacket.
I’m sending everyone wishes for a beautiful fall!
Perfectly ripe tomatoes, fat orange pumpkins, sweet grapes, apples, pears and
the perfect amount of the work you love.
I’m doing the same thing with a quilt top I’m constructing. Why waste three mostly uninterrupted days?
