piecing swingDid you ever have one of those weeks where your email goes down and the tech guys tell you it’s gone forever? Completely deleted from the entire universe? Then, after long conversations and explanations, they decide it was their mistake? So they say they’ll fix it and it will be back up and running by the next day? Did that ever happen to you?

piecing swing 2Then the next day it was still not working? And the tech guys said it would take another 22 hours. And after 22 hours it was still not working? And every email that was sent was bounced back to the sender? And every day that went by you remembered more reasons why loosing all your email contacts would be a very bad thing?
I sincerely hope it did not happen to you. Because it just happened to me. And it is not a good thing.
Finally, finally, after four long days, the code writers triumphed and all was back in order. I was connected.

piecing swings 3But you know, things have a way of balancing out, because during that very same week, I had swing coats to sew and hours of sewing and concentrating. So there was no room to think about anything but fabric and strips and coats and breathing.

And such beauty emerged from your artistry while you were unplugged. Might be a good idea for me to give it try!

I hope you plan to design plus sizes; as, I could see my wife in the pictured dress from the American craft magazine. I like the richness of the complexities of the fabrics; albeit, silk can be a warm fabric to wear your cut outs may vent some of the heat: Did you or will you plan it that way? Your a leader in the “world of fashion art” ie…no more lines on a map; no more colors used as a boundry; just, a blue planet. Keep on mixing it up since your so incredible at it and it looks so visually stimulating to me. Wishing you the best of everything and hopefully a chance to buy one of your dresses in my wife’s size.

      Thank You Paul!
The best thing about custom work? Any size, any figure can be accommodated.
We’re all different! A good thing, otherwise how would we tell each other apart?
