Photo Shoot!

The holidays are on their way and with them, the search for gift ideas. It’s the perfect time to highlight my scarves. Each is unique, they’re pretty, zero-waste [sewn from scraps] and so easy – one size fits all.

My first step, new photos.

But what to do? I needed an idea.

A few weeks back, while looking at instagram, I saw some photos by my friend’s daughter. She had posted snapshots of herself and her friends all crowded together, hugging, laughing, goofing off, having fun. Finally an idea! If she was up for it, we could capture that energy for my next photo shoot. She had modeled for me in the past so I knew she would be perfect.

Would she be interested? A big yes. And bring along some of her friends? Yes!!!

So we all gathered together with the fantastic photographer Mario Gallucci, the wonderful stylist Crystal Lee Addleman and the four girls, all school friends.

Wow! Amazing energy! They brought exactly what I had been hoping for.

OK! Here we go! Onward into the holiday season.

Let’s all agree to find our own versions of happiness. Whether that means being all alone, or with a few, or gathering with many, with friends, with family, a cuddly cat, a warm quilt, a long movie, a walk in the woods or down a crowded sidewalk. You choose! I’m sending my wishes that you find your own place of bliss.
