Do you know the very best sewing related magazine that’s out there? It’s Threads and in the current issue, #159, is an article about my work. And how pretty it is! Stephani Miller, my awesome editor, and the Threads art department, all did their very best for me.
There’s a lot of technical information so you can see, step by step, my process. But what I’m most interested in and I think that the layout and pictures conveyed so well, is the importance of inspiration. The rules are fluid. Vision first, technique is just the way to get you there.
I don’t have a link to the article, but as soon as possible, I promise to have a read-able copy on my website.
Until then, issue number 159 is out and available at your favorite news stand. Check it out!
Again, thank you Stephani Miller and the whole Threads magazine staff!
Your clothing looks great in Threads’ pages. Lucky me, my local library subscribes. Congrats!
Thank you Jeannette!
And of course! The library! Threads magazine should be available at everyone’s local library. I am a huge library fan. I always have a pile of audio books to listen to while I sew, all courtesy the Multnomah County Library.
I was so thrilled to see the article. Your work is so fantastic, I was very pleased to see it in one of my favorite magazines.
Thank you Ann! I was pleased to see my work in Threads too. And in the same issue with an article about the amazing Charles James. Wow!
Hi, Ann! I was so happy to see you written up in Threads (again!) as I am a long term subscriber. I don’t know if I’ll make it to ACC this year, but have a great show anyway!
Thank you Jeannie! I’m a long time Threads subscriber too, there’s no other magazine like it.
And thanks also for the good wishes for the ACC Baltimore Craft Show. It’s always a fantastic show. I’ve met some wonderful people, it’s like a big homecoming every time I go.
Your stuff really should have been on the cover of Threads!! What were they thinking??!!
