That’s right! An ArtBeat story about me and my work! ArtBeat is Oregon Public Broadcasting’s TV show about Oregon artists. Artists of all kinds, painters, musicians, sculptors, dancers, designers, you name it and they’re interested.
Jule Gilfillan, one of ArtBeat’s talented producers, wrote and directed my story and she’ll be introducing the segment. As host, Jule should be wearing an Ann Williamson outfit. Right? Of course!
So, which outfit? She stopped by the studio and we found the perfect combination. A little tweak here and there and she’ll look great.
The story will air April 18th, 8:00pm. If you miss the broadcast, OPB will be streaming it on their website. Can’t wait!
Congratulations on a great Art Beat segment! and your beautiful works of art. I dabble in beadweaving and bead embroidery, but have been getting pulled more and more to fabric embellishments. Seeing your work process, supplies (Japanese silks!!) and finished work was a delight!

I sell my work through various craft shows through out the year. I also have a trunk sale in my studio every year, usually in the fall. I list these events on my blog or my web site under “coming appearances”. And, if you’re not able to come to the shows, I’m also available by appointment in my Portland, Oregon studio.
