Dresses for Weddings

September 28, 2011 3 Comments

The bride is the most important person at a wedding [well, and the groom too!], but the rest of us, the family, the friends, we are all part of it too. What better way to help celebrate than by wearing something special?

So I’m adding ‘Dresses for Weddings and Special Occasions’ to my collection. Donilee, Julene and Hannah show off 3. Donilee wears a pink and grey dress, topped with a pink ‘corsage pin’. The silver beaded gown on Julene was inspired by the dresses of the Spanish flamenco. Hannah’s silk organza tunic dress has a lace-like appliqued collar.

Evan holds our bride, the lovely Megan, who wears silk chiffon with an obi-like sash. Her hair piece is layers of loops and pearls. Susanne, next to Tim and Julene, has on a hand painted wrap jacket over a pieced coral skirt.

Scott stands next to Sarah who models a silk suit with diamond shaped cut-outs down each sleeve.

Sarah shows off the sleeve detail.

It’s not a wedding until the bride tosses the bouquet.

We had such a great time, everything went perfectly. Thank you to my fabulous models Scott, Donilee, Hannah, Julene, Tim, Susanne, Evan, Megan and Sarah. [the one in the blue checks, with the big grin? That’s me]

Not to mention my fantastic stylists Stephanie and Lisa, my dresser and helper Elisabeth, photographer Dan Kvitka and Holocene for the use of their wonderful space.

Next, a new section on my web page for weddings and special occasions. Within the next week or so, I’ll have it up and ready for viewing.

Great pics! What a bunch of beautiful people, surrounding a short bald guy. What’s *that* all about? 🙂

Not a short bald guy! A handsome guy, with exactly the right amount of hair, standing next to some people who are a just a bit taller than he is.
