I’m on it! Sewing new work for the American Craft Council’s 2018 craft show in San Francisco.
Although, let me specify, I am sewing, but so far, not actually finishing. Yet. That’s next.
Like this new Japanese jacket. Front and back pieced, cut out and ready to be sewn together.
Not quite a jacket, but almost.
You may remember this one.
A few weeks ago I posted a photo of little red squares pinned to a white piece of fabric.
Now, all appliqué is completed.
Next up, press flat. Then, add the bottom half and sew into a jacket.
I tweaked an old piecing design for this vest. I’ll add a black peplum to the bottom, cut out the pattern pieces and voila,
a new vest!
You work so quickly and so precisely with such beautiful results. I’m in awe.
Those little red squares drive me wild.
Can’t wait to see what these beauties turn into!
