And ready for its close-up.

I have not made a quilt since forever, so I am over the moon that I actually made and finished this one.

So much fun.

Inspired by this skirt.

Next up, it’s off to the Aspire Show House for its debut.

      Really striking. The wavy quilting lines add a really nice counterpoint to the crisp piecing.

    Great job! The improvised piecing works amazingly well. And nicely quilted, too. Quilts can involve the same creative process that the piecing for your garments requires. Loved seeing the piece.

    Beautiful! The curved quilting is such a great contrast with the sharp angles of the piecing!
