Community Garden

Do you have them where you live?
Garden plots made available through the city’s Parks and Recreation department.
So cool! A place for people to grow vegetables, fruits or flowers.
Sign up and for a small fee a 50 to 400 square foot plot is yours.

Portland has 50 gardens throughout the city with 150 to 20 plots per garden.

This time of year the plants are huge! And bursting with gorgeous fruits and vegetables.

And tomatoes.
Wow!

Peppers peeking from under their leaves.

Strawberries, a few still ripening. And so sweet!
