It’s fall outside. Any leaves still in the trees are bright red and orange.
But the rain and cold weather is OK, it helps to focus my attention.
I have a few projects going:
A classic man’s vest, pieced from tiny squares of silk.
To remember which side the buttonholes go on I use this trick:
Women are always right. For this man’s vest, I must remember, buttonholes on the left side.
Beads and kimono silk bolts for 2 jackets, designed and ready to go.
Shelves of in process projects: two appliqued jackets, almost finished.
And this one is just starting. Skinny bias tubes of silk, pinned in place and ready to be basted and sewn.
I love that you have those beautiful fall tree colors with a second story view to look out on as you work!
So THAT’S how you remember which side the men’s button holes go on! Perfect! That vest is scrumptious.
Those new appliquéd jackets are SCRUMPTIOUS!! WoW, the colors are an amazing combination!
Enjoying the selection of photos. Great examples of a warm and cozy …and …busy environment. Especially like the colors and composition of appliquéd jacket pieces.
