I’m home from my annual trip to the American Craft Council, Baltimore Show. It’s one of the biggest craft shows in the country with a devoted following of many enthusiastic fans. It’s always lots of fun, maybe even too much fun! It’s like a 5 day party.
Quite a few pieces went straight out the door. This Blue and Silver beaded and appliqued jacket piqued the interest of a number of people. A lovely lady, Adeline, [I should say sweet, which she was] took it home.
A detail, showing the applique strips and beading that I added. This fabric was from a kimono I dismantled. Do you remember it? I showed it washed and drying a few posts back.
In the next few weeks I promise I’ll add more pictures of pieces from the Balitmore show.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, I look forward to seeing you next year!
