forest vest

People ask, “Can you make one for me? But, can you make it different?”
These projects can be fun, they’re like puzzles to solve.
This one for example, she wanted the jacket made as a vest. I like it! A very good idea.

Something good always happens; the second ones are always a little different. I like that, each its own unique piece. Like family members, related, but distinct.

I live in Florida and don’t need too many jackets. I love to see what you are making however, they are all so beautiful. Thanks so much for showing them to us.

Thank you Anne! Who lives in beautiful Florida, where jackets are for cool evenings, a few winter months and travel. The rest of the time it’s lovely warm days. Lucky you!

You do beautiful work! I love how you’ve used appliqué to really make something colourful and unique. What vest pattern are you using or are you adapting/embellishing an already made jacket? Thanks for any ideas!

Hi MaryAnn Thank you for your kind words about my work! As to the pattern for the vest shown in this post, your second guess was right on. I adapted my jacket pattern [you can see the original jacket in the post] to a vest pattern.
