Black silks and Sen-Sen

It’s not a jacket yet, but if you squint, you can see the neckline and imagine the sleeves coming off the shoulders. It’s pieced from the remainders of other black projects. The different textures and slight color variations in the kimono silks really show up when the fabrics are placed next to each other.

How about those beads? Vintage black beads sewn into the center of each patch. The square beads look like Sen-Sen [you remember..., Sen-Sen, the Victorian era "throat ease and breathe perfume" candy?]
